He has participated in projects and funding activities that have channelled capital to SMEs and key sectors of the economy.

Korede is the Founder/CEO of EdgePlus Capital. Prior to this, he was Co-Founder and MD/CEO of Nobleserve Capital, a position he assumed after his exit from Sterling Bank as an Assistant General Manager after a meritorious commercial and investment banking career. Presently the West African Area Head, Corporate Affairs (Internal and External Communications & Sustainability) at British- American Tobacco (BAT) and Executive Director, BAT Nigeria Foundation. Abimbola Okoya is current President the Nigeria-Britain Association, the the youngest female President in the Association’s history.

With over a decade in Financial Advisory and Consulting; Gafar has worked at Nobleserve Capital, Covantage BPO Limited, and First Marina Trust Limited amongst others. Gafar managed a portfolio of clients across different sectors where he was able to mobilise funds to finance projects, working capital supports and bridging specialized funds.
